The last hours of 2008 and first hours of 2009
were spent with them. (:D)
We planned to go to the MarinaBarrage at first,
but it was FULL. (-.-)
So we left to CityHall, walked to the Esplanade
and i got hit on the butt by a damn bangala.
he could still turn back and smile at me.
DISGUST ME.
Squeezed with the crowd until we gave up.
U-turned and went to somewhere else for fresh air.
Five minutes before the clock struck 12,
we settled down at a grass patch behind the Esplanade.
The people were cheering enthusiastically,
anticipating the arrival of the new year!
The fireworks were pretty! (:
Darrall was counting 1million, 2million..
each time a new set of fireworks reached the sky. (-.-)
Wanted to head to ClarkeQuay,
but got stuck in a human jam at the bridge.
I could hardly breathe.
At that point of time i realised the need to be taller.
Crazy Aunties were giggling and smiling at me.
Daryl lead us and we U-turned again.
this China women was stuck with me face-to-face.
She kept laughing and i was covering my mouth
as her face was right in front of mine.
Walked to through the AsianCivilisationMuseum
to ClarkeQuay.
Said Hello and Happy New Year to random people on the streets.
Grabbed beers from 7-11 and continued walking to CityHall.
Accompanied Daryl while he ate at the Kopitiam.
Thanks Daryl for sending us home,
and breaking the light stick for me. (:P)
